We are seeking a Parent Partner to work with families involved with the Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF) to provide peer support, advocacy, and resources to help them navigate the child welfare system and recovery.
As a Parent Partner, you will have the opportunity to use your lived experience through recovery from substance use disorder and involvement with DCYF to help families identify their strengths and needs and develop individualized plans to achieve their goals. You will collaborate with child welfare professionals and community partners, attend meetings and appointments, provide parenting education and support, and maintain accurate documentation of client interactions and progress.
Qualifications:
